Such a sweet face . . . looks like she had quite the personality & possibly opinions to go with it. Unconditional love is so true . . . I kind of feel that none of us really deserve our dogs . . . they are sure gifts and treasures in our lives . . .and live on in big parts of our hearts. . . .F/l

A revisit to your adorable BFF! We still talk of our chocolate lab as if he were still with us tho' it is years since we lost him.

This is a sweet animal portrait Calvin. I am so sorry for your loss. Some people don't realize that Ava was a family member. I am so sorry for your loss.

Of all things today would have been my fathers birthday. I have a photo Circa 1935 with my dad holding hos dog jingles. This is the dog . 😳. He spoke about that dog to the very end. Sweet image Stefani Jane

We had a Springer spaniel when I was a child. Her name was Brownie. She was so gentle, loving, and faithful. Sorry about your loss.

My condolences Calvin, I'm sorry for your loss. Loosing a pet is just as hard! I can speak of what it's like to lose a beloved pet. We had a stray cat whom was pregnant and about to give birth, had picked a spot under our house, of all places, to have her liter. This was in the middle of the pandemic and there wasn't anything we could do but to try and raise them on our own. We ended up losing three of them out of five and it was hard on my mother who had one to pass in her arms. By looking at this photo, I dare say that Ava was very much loved and well cared for and probably just had too many birthdays!
