Description
Weeks earlier, a vibrant boulevard, shopping area in Old Town Pasadena, California here Colorado Boulevard is void of traffic with empty sidewalks and shuttered stores. In another time, a million people line the boulevard to watch the New Year's Rose Parade pass; in earlier times, a portion of the fabled Route 66, America' Highway.

Excellent b&w choice l
Calvin Boyer replied:
B&W does underscore for me the sadness of the desertion of the normally vibrant area. THANKS

Stark monochrome statement, Calvin!
Calvin Boyer replied:
What is even more stark is the stillness here with what in normal times is a choked four lane street... THNKS FOR THE COMPLIMENT!!
